SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical (originally titled The SpongeBob Musical, later retitled as such for the national tour) is a stage musical, co-conceived and directed by Tina Landau with songs by various artists and a book by Kyle Jarrow.Â
It is based on the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants and made its world premiere in June 2016 at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago. Following a month of previews, the musical opened on Broadway at the Palace Theatre in December 2017.

Bella Eder (Karen Plankton, Ensemble) is excited to be making her stage production debut...this is her first show!
This is her second time at the Palace though, the first time was a mini-camp. The inspiration to be in this show came from her love of good ol' SpongeBob SquarePants. The performing experience has been fantastic, lovely, and extremely exciting and fun. Bella would like to thank her family, teachers, and friends for being supportive and encouraging her!
Cecily Bell (Mayor of Bikini Bottom, Ensemble) is 13 years old and has been in three other productions with Palace Education (Bugsy Malone JR, Matilda JR, and Into the Woods JR). She is excited to be on stage again!
Daryana Dumitriu (Pearl Krabs, Sardine Devotee, Ensemble) is 13 years old and a first year member of of the Palace Performance Company. This is her fourth show with Palace Education and is one of her favorites!
Daryana is the recipient of two UIL All Star Cast awards and was recently the lead role in her school show that won the district championship. She loves being at the Palace and is excited for many more shows!
Ella Cain (Electric Skate, Sardine Devotee, Ensemble) is excited to be an actress at Palace Education. She is 13 years old and her first role was in Beauty and the Beast JR where she was a bookseller and a dancing doll. This is where she found her love for acting. Thanks to everyone who helped with the show!
Ella Norris (Sheldon J. Plankton) is 10 years old, has been in 11 musicals with Palace Education, and has been a Palace Performance Company member for two years. She loves theater, cats and dogs. She would like to thank her family and friends. Enjoy the show!
Emma Vinante (Squidward Q. Tentacles) is 13 years old and has been performing with Palace Education since she was seven. Emma has been a member of the Palace Performance Company for three years. She has really enjoyed being a part of this cast and can't wait to show you what they have been working on. She is so thankful for her family supporting her acting endeavors. Emma would also like to thank everyone working backstage, without them, this would not be possible. She is so thankful for this opportunity!
Emory Cornelius (Electric Skate, Old Man Jenkins, Ensemble) is 13 years old and has been acting for seven years. She has been coming to Palace Education for five years and is a first ear member of the Palace Performance Company.
She would like to thank her parents, Miss Jesee, Ms. Danie, and Ms. Deb for giving her this amazing opportunity. She would also like to thank her school theater teacher for making her more comfortable with acting.
Esther Stokes (French Narrator, Krabby Patty, Gary, Ensemble) is 11 years old and has done one previous camp before this, Seussical KIDS. She joined this show as a SpongeBob fanatic with an additional love for performing and acting. She thanks her parents for taking time out of their day to drive her to rehearsal.
Hannah Vartanian (Mr. Eugene Krabs) is excited for her eight show at the Palace! She is in fifth grade and knows some German. Hannah is going to be in advanced theater in middle school and would like to be an actor when she grows up. She would like to thank her family members Elisabeth, Joanna, Carolyn, and Sarah for supporting and guiding her into theater.
Kylee Cline (Patrick Star) has been performing for many years. This is her first time at Palace Education. She would like to thank her family, friends, and theater teachers for supporting her through her theater adventure.
Lydia Garcia (Perch Perkins, Ensemble) is a first year member of the Palace Performance Company. This is her second show with Palace Education. She is eleven and in fifth grade. She plays basketball and piano. She wants to be a triple threat when she grows up.
Olivia Katzman (Sandy Cheeks) is a 12 year old girl and goes to Hopewell Middle School. This is her second year as a member of the Palace Performance Company. She has been in eight productions with Palace Education.
She would like to thank the staff and her cast for making this show possible. Olivia would also like to thank her parents and sister for their support through her theater journey.
Rylee Cline (Mrs. Puffs, Ensemble) is excited to be performing for the first time with Palace Education.
They are 14 years old and have been acting since they were 11. Rylee would like to thank her friends and family for supporting them through their theater adventure.
Sean Condon (SpongeBob SquarePants) is very excited to be playing his biggest role yet! He is 14 years old and has done many roles including Crutchie (Newsies JR) and Michael Banks (Mary Poppins JR). He would like to thank his parents for supporting him, his sister for being the best role model, his friends for helping him, and the Quarnaccio family for driving him to rehearsals and classes
Tucker Castaneda (Electric Skate, Larry the Lobster, Ensemble) has been performing with Palace Education for four years. He just turned 11 years old and is excited to be performing in The SpongeBob Musical. Tucker would like to thank his family and teachers for encouraging him.
